Willis Towers Watson: Accelerating opportunities for junior consultants

by | Nov 9, 2021 | Best practice, Case study

Sharing best practice and providing ‘live’ development opportunities were key to the success of Willis Towers Watson’s award-winning training programme, Pathfinder, led by Helena Ingram. How do you involve mentors and buddies in the programmes at your organisation?

To increase and accelerate opportunities for junior consultants to build essential technical and interpersonal skills, the Pathfinder programme involved senior consultants in their development.

Employees who participate in the programme are now delivering value to the business at an earlier stage while accelerating their own capabilities and careers.

With a strong support system, trainee consultants developed the skills, confidence and experience to enable them to become effective client-facing consultants, faster.

How do you involve senior employees in the development of more junior employees in your organisation?
